A fill in is recommended about every two to three weeks to fill in the gap that has formed from your natural nail growing underneath.
This does NOT do anything to strengthen your natural nail.
You’ll go through about the same process as when you got them done initially but a much quicker visit than getting the full set. (they do not have a greater chance of breaking after a fill in)
We remove any polish, then file the acrylic down a bit as well as the natural nail that has grown out.
We then they add acrylic to the top of your natural nail and carry through to the end of the acrylic nail.
You can have them trimmed at this time as well.
Finally we finish up by polishing after a good buffing and file into shape again.
